Link Aggregation
Switching
Overview
A logical bundle combines compatible physical links, often negotiated with LACP. Flow hashing keeps a flow on a member to avoid reordering; one flow usually cannot exceed one member link. A failed member reduces aggregate capacity without necessarily breaking all traffic.
